At One with His Ability Hand

Shaun was the first patient in the world to lose an upper limb to a traumatic injury and undergo agonist-antagonist myoneural interface surgery to maintain the links between his brain and muscles. It makes him feel "at one" with his PSYONIC Ability Hand. A mechanic, he says he's doing all the things he was doing before he was injured by a distracted driver.

Hear Shaun's story -- made possible with support of the Stepping Strong and Brigham and Women's Hospital -- in this clip from WBZ CBS News Boston.
