Australia and osteointegration

Our CEO Aadeel Akhtar is just back from two weeks in Australia learning more about a new bone integration surgery from the doctor who pioneered the technique, Munjed Almuderis. A group from San Diego, including doctors and prosthetists from Naval Medical Center San Diego, UC San Diego Health, and Hanger Clinic, made the trip.

We're looking to connect the Ability Hand directly to people's bones in place of the socket that is typically used...and to making San Diego the bionics capital of the world.
